DAVINA Coffee limited deprived growth
Encouraging growth of locally owned businesses in the country is what the government has said to achieve but yet it seems most of the locally owned businesses in the country are somewhat deprived by government institutions to experience business growth.
Davina Coffee Production Limited is one particular company that has been deprived its right to grow by the Coffee Industry Corporation (CIC) to further its growths seeing that the company has completely shut down, after CIC refused to renew its coffee exporting licences since 2009-20015.
According to the Managing Director of the Company, Mr Amos Jack, the company has made a loss of business worth K2.8million and are now asking and seeking Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Tommy Tomscol to give directives to CIC to meet the losses made by Davina Coffee Production Limited.
Davina Coffee Ltd is a subsidiary company to the Busu Coffeee Ltd which is based and operated in Goroka, EHP.
The owner and their families will be seeking legal actions to making sure that what is owed to them are met by the concerned government body and authorities.
