Just Kick Fun Day
The "Just Play Fun day" was kicked off by the PNGFA President David Cheung.
The Just Play fun day coincided with the Universal Children’s Day where students from 11 schools gathered to mark the 26th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
PNGFA President David Cheung in his opening speech said, although there are many important rights in the convention today the focus was on every child’s right to play and that through the Just Play program and with one football as a vital tool, children are learning about team work and fair play. Girls and boys are playing together and physical activity and exercise has once again become fun.
PNGFA President Cheung went on to thank all Just play programming partners the Australian Government, Australian Football Federation and the Union of European Football Association Foundation for Children, UNICEF and the New Zealand Government and one world football. The PNGFA boss went on to thank the teachers and volunteers the children and football which is a fantastic tool to improve a life of a child most importantly every child has a right to Just Play.
