RH will continue to support Censorship
The Office of Censorship presented a certificate of appreciation to Mr Yap Seng Bok, Manager Movie World and also Operations Manager for the RH Hypermarket,in recognition of their support in the successful hosting of the Censorship Awareness & Media Partnership Workshop that was held last month at the March Girls Resort, Gaire.
The recent Censorship Awareness & Media Partnership Workshop was a coordinated awareness initiative reaching out to the mainstream media for their partnership and collaboration with the Office of Censorship.
The aim of the workshop was to ensure the media fully understand the roles and responsibilities of the Office and also to ensure that correct and unbiased information is shared for the benefit of the general public.
In response Mr Yap expressed his sincere gratitude in receiving the certificate, stating that it is more valuable to him in showing kindness and helping others especially individuals and other organisations in hosting such meaningful activities for the benefit of the people.
Mr Yap also stated that, ‘as long as I am managing Movie World, the Censorship Office can depend on me in future workshops, as long as they are timely’.
Deputy Chief Censor Mr Jim Abani took time to thank Mr Yap on behalf of the Office of Censorship for the continued support portrayed by Movie World especially during the year 2015.
Movie World is a newly established company managed under RH Hypermarket and is also a Publication Premises that is monitored by the Office of Censorship in terms of registration fees and movie screening.
