James Segeyaro in Penrith Panthers nines side
FORMER Papua New Guinea Prime Minister’s XIII representative and Penrith Panthers hooker James Segeyaro was named in the club’s 18-man squad for the 2016 Downer NRL Auckland Nines.
The 25-year-old was named along with other first graders in New Zealand backrower Elijah Taylor, mobile forward Bryce Cartwright, Reagan-Campbell-Gillard and wingers Josh Mansour and Dallin Watene Zelezniak.
Penrith fans will also get their first look at new signing and former Holden Cup star Te Maire Martin in Panthers colours at the tournament.
The Panthers play the PNG Hunters in a pre-season fixture in Port Moresby on the same weekend as the nines. The nines is on February 6-7 at Eden Park, Auckland.
