Sir Michael warns Sepik People
Grand Chief Sir Michael Somare has warned the people of Sepik of both East and West to be mindful of cash flow problems experienced at the National Level and that there will certainly be repercussions in not just the two provinces but nationwide. He warned that social sectors like health and education will definitely be affected. He adds that for this reason, Provincial Govts will have to look at raising revenues by focusing on foreign and other direct investments. For 2016, he says Provincial Governments will support further agriculture in development in the Province. He says he has initiated work to register integrated landowner groups and will encourage Provincial Govt to further that process to its completion.
