Medical Ship YWAM PNG goes to Gulf
The medical ship YWAM PNG which sailed out of Port Moresby for Gulf Province last Friday is now serving the isolated areas of the province with almost 180 volunteers on board.
With the installation of 4 new dental chairs and a day-on-board eye clinic, YWAM is braving the waters of Gulf Province in this wet season to deliver basic health services and bring hope to isolated people who do not have access to basic health services.
The ship and its volunteers will spend another week in the province before heading to Port Moresby to set sail for Milne Bay Province for its second outreach program according to the ship’s representative Anna Scott.
