More than 20 students receive prestige scholarship
MORE than 20 students from Africa, Caribbean, America and Pacific were awarded the prestige scholarship to study at the University of South Pacific. The CARPIMS/BULA Scholarship is funded by European Union which sees students selected in nominated universities across region.
This year (2016) there are about 20 students being selected to study at the University of South Pacific in Suva, FIJI under the CARPIMS/BULA Scholarship. The students (photo below) come from all over the world.
The CARPIMS/BULA Scholarship is designed to facilitate the movement of Masters students, PhD students and Staff between selected national Universities in the Pacific regions as a means of building capacity and encouraging socioeconomic development the region. It also covers the payment of tuition fees (when applicable), travel costs to and from the host country and a health, travel and accident insurance.
The scholarship is now open and calling for new interested applications from candidates in the Pacific.
