PNG Coach Serritslev names squad to take on Solomon Islands friendly
Papua New Guinea men's soccer team coach Flemming Serritslev has named his 23 players for the first two friendlies against Solomon Islands National team at Lawson Tama Stadium, in Honiara on the 24th and 27th March.
The 23 players will assemble in Port Moresby on the 21st March and leave for Solomon on the 22nd March to play a strong Solomon Islands National team.
Serritslev said he will use this two match to see where they stand as a team, especially competing against a team who is also preparing for the same event.
"From this two friendlies we can see where we are and prepare for our next friendlies in Korea on the 5th May," said Serritslev.
With confidence in the players selected Serritslev believes that the chances to impress will outweigh the latter.
"I am happy with the players here, they are committed to the sport and eager to lean which makes it easier for me to coach them."
