Indian President Pranab Mukherjee to visit Papua New Guinea

The Presidnet of Republic of India Pranab Mukherjee, is visiting Papua New Guinea this week Thursday and Friday. The president will hold talks with PNG Prime Minsiters Peter O'Neill. President Mukherjee is expected to announce K7.2 million funding for HIV/AIDS prescriptions plus assisting in building a pharmaceutical factory in Papua New Guinea for the Pacific region.
He will also discuss the US$100 million funding India is giving to Mount Hagen for its court house refurbishment, the Information and communication technology project, the health, agriculture and other sector programs that India is assisting PNG with. Other agenda PNG and India will discuss is about the visa hindrance Indian businessmen and women are facing with their travels to PNG. Indian President is likely to request for VISA on arrival for his businessmen and women.
