UPNG Students affected by fire moved to Games Village
Over 80 first year University of Papua New Guinea students who lost their properties in the Fools DAY fire are now being accomodated at the new Pacific Games Village facility within the campus.
According to UPNG Student Services Student Warden Mr. Samuel Banake, the 85 affected students will have a meeting with the school administration at 10am today to discuss how the university can help them.
Banake is concerned that those students that lost there properties in the fire will be affected in the studies and gradings because most of them lost assignments and study notes and other study materials in the fire. PNGFM
