Vanuatu hit by another earthquake
A magnitude 6.5 earthquake has been recorded off the coast of Vanuatu.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the epicenter of the quake was 135 kilometres northwest of the town of Santo and it was registered at a depth of 10 kilometres.
According to RNZI, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said there was no threat of a tsunami.
This is the second quake there within the last few hours, earlier this morning, a magnitude 6.2 was recorded.
There was no tsunami warning issued for that quake.
