Government continues to maintain core policies PM O'Neill
The Prime Minister, Peter O’Neill has highlighted the Government’s focus on maintaining its major policies and projects, which is evident across the country where vast majority of the population are seeing and benefiting.
Core policies on education, health, infrastructure, law and order and economic development undertaken by the Government are driving the nation forward the Prime Minister said at the opening of the Pangia Luu Lodge on Saturday.
“Free Education is the key priority for the Government and this has enabled a million more children to enrol in schools than we have ever seen before and has relieved school fee burdens many parents have faced.
“Every child in this country deserves a better education so one day they can make a sound living and it is this Government that is making this happen.
“In any country it is never easy to find a job, but a good education can enable our children to have a good and successful in the future.
“I urge all parents to talk with their children on education importance and leave politics behind, as it will only do harm to them.
“Our country is experiencing development at a faster rate than ever before and people must be part of it rather than criticising those who sacrifice their time and effort in bringing positive changes.”
In opening the Pangia Luu Lodge in his electorate of Ialibu Pangia, the Prime Minister said the business signifies the importance of hard work by the owner, Mr Eke Lama.
“Eke Lama is a fine example of hard work and he has become a successful businessman in the country.
“Hard work and honesty can deliver real results and change lies.
“I congratulate Eke Lama in building his business and employing many Papua New Guineans.”
