NEC appoints new tourism boss

Mr Agus replaces Mr Eric Mossman who was acting CEO for the past three months until his acting appointment expired on May 17.
The Minister welcomes the NEC decision and called on the tourism industry members and key stake holders to work Mr Agus to deliver the Govt’s expectations on tourism development.
Meanwhile, new CEO for TPA, Mr Jerry Agus says product development must remain the primary focus for TPA before going out and marketing PNG to the World. He says with his appointment, TPA will see a major transformation in its overall operations including prudent management of staff for maximum output and the efficient management of TPA’s overseas offices.
He says domestic tourism would also be another key priority for developments while educating our people through nationwide awareness program to respect and appreciate the benefits of tourism development in PNG.
