Papua New Guinea's capital Port Moresby is reeling back to normal, after a confrontation between members of the police force and students of the University of Papua New Guinea yesterday. More than a dozen studnets were injured when Police opened fire on them. Consequently, the city was shut down completely yesterday with buses pulling off the roads, Business houses closed down early, school children were sent early, workers walked the street of Port Moresby to reach home.
This morning PNG Today observed that the streets are packed again with vehicles as workers returned to work. There are few busess on the road that causing students and public to stranded at main bus stops. Heavily armed Police is patrolling the city streets but the situation is still tense
