Morobe Governor Naru will not support Vote of No Confidence against PM O'Neill
Governor for Morobe, Kasiga Kelly Naru said he will not take sides with the government or the opposition in Fridays Vote of No Confidence.
The Governors stance was made in consultation with the Members of the Provincial Executive Council (PEC) at the Tutumang House in what the governor described as the official view from the government on the ground.
"We do not necessarily support the Government or Opposition in terms of the current motion of no confidence" said Governor Naru.
Governor Naru further added that "as far as the Vote of No Confidence is concerned, the position of the Morobe Provincial Government is that we will support the due observance of the rule of law and...as a Christian Province, we will support the will of God for this nation".
