Pacific Fashion to advocate on violence
With fashion being one of the powerful tools to drive a statement, it will be used to advocate on combating all forms of violence in the Pacific at the 3rd Pacific Fashion Festival . Set to be hosted on the 8th of October 2016 at the South Bank Cultural Centre in Brisbane, the event will attract the participation of fashion designers all over the pacific region.
The key objectives of the festival are to unmask and monetize the talent of young entrepreneurs in the pacific by creating a platform for them, to showcase the rich culture in the pacific and to advocate of humanitarian issues.
Director of the Pacific Fashion Festival Cassandra Rangip said that the Papua New Guinean Advocacy Organization the Leniata Legacy will be facilitating the event.
