Air Niugini supports PNG Hunters

The SP Hunters paid a visit to Air Niugini Head office at 7mile in Port Moresby recently where they presented a framed, signed jersey as a token of their appreciation to Air Niugini for its continuous support.

Air Niugini commenced the sponsorship of the Hunters in their 2014 season and have continued to this date, basically subsidizing the airfares for players travel, coaching and training. This allows the team to travel to Australia in in accordance with the annual Intrust Super Cup.
Chief Executive Officer, Mr Simon Foo in receiving the framed jersey from Hunters Coach Michael Marum said the hunter’s continuous games in Australia has put PNG on the map and ANG is happy to be associated with them.

Mr Foo said “ You display professionalism and discipline at a higher level, putting PNG on the map and we are happy to continue our support for the team and also develop packages for Australians to visit Papua New Guinea.”
PNGRFL and SP Hunter’s Chief Executive Officer, Bob Cutmore thanked Air Niugini for its support and association.
