Students mark PNG's 41st Independence with Traditional show
Papua New Guinea; a country rich in diverse culture, tradition and language yet united with one vision to see growth and development.
With the independence fever in the air with flags all over the country, Lahara Birdwing Playschool hosted its Cultural Show with a patriotic vibe in the air as children displayed their culture and tradition in traditional dresses and dances today.
As the children swayed to beat of the traditional instruments, the unity in the atmosphere could be felt with parents and teachers joining in.
School Principal Helen Haricknen said while Papua New Guinea is moving forward with 41 years of independence the country has a great responsibility to maintain and preserve its culture for the future generation. PNGFM/ PNG Today
