Education Officers investigate exam paper leakage
The Department of Education has already sent a Senior Education Officer together with a school Inspector to investigate the reports on the leakage of Exam papers in the Eastern Highlands Province.
Acting Secretary for Education Dr Uke Kombra said, he only saw those reports on media but he has already spoken with the Provincial Education Advisor to work with the police and schools to find out if the reports are true.
“We will decide on the consequences for those teachers and students involved in this crime if the reports are confirmed to be true but at this time our Educations Officers are investigating those reports and we will only act upon their report”
Meanwhile, he urged all schools in EHP and also in other provinces to continue on with exams as the matter on hand is being investigated by authorities. PNGFM/ PNG Today
