Korea DPR advances to semi-finals of FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup

After beating PNG 7-1 and advancing into the quarter finals in the FIFA U20 Women's World Cup here in Port Moresby, Korea DPR continues its winning momentum beating Spain 3-2.

While both teams went to half time with 2 goals each, the second half saw a strong game where both teams' defense did not allow a goal. With both teams still drawing at 2-2 at fulltime, an extra 30 minutes was given with 15 minutes each way to determine the winner of the match.

The first 15 minutes saw a strong game where both teams could not score a goal. Coming back to the second 15 minutes, Korea DPR came back with determination that overwhelmed the strong defense of Spain scoring their winning goal.
This is Korea DPR's 4th consecutive win in the cup and proud coach Hwwang Yongbong says the girls will be taking the days off to prepare for the semi finals. PNGFM/PNG Today
