PNG Kapuls to play Iran, Malaysia


The Papua New Guinea's Men's National Football team, the Kapuls are set to play Iran, in Malaysia, as they prepare for the World Cup.

Iran is the number one team in Asia.

The newly appointed head of the Kapul delegation, Joseph Ealedona, says the PNG Kapuls received the green light to play Iran last week, and Iran is pleased to play PNG.

The Kapuls will also play a second match with Malaysia, after Iran.

The Kapuls are set to go into their final training camp in Port Moresby tomorrow before they leave for their two important matches, in the lead up to the FIFA World Cup qualifier.

Coach Serristlev (pron: SEISLEV) says overseas players will join the team in Malaysia.

They will fly out on November 7.

The first match against Iran is on November 11 and the second friendly with Malaysia on November 14.
