Hekari resigns from NSL
Hekari United FC has resigned from the National Soccer League as of today.
Owner of Hekari foot-ball club John Kapi Nato confirmed this during a press conference held today.
Kapi Nato said that few other NSL teams like the Erema, Rapatona, Admiralty FC, Lae City Dwellers, Morobe United FC and PS Huawei have confirmed to pull out also following the suspension of other foot-ball association presidents.
Meanwhile, Mr. Kapi Nato also announced today that a new foot-ball association apart from PNGFA called the Super League will be formed soon with the 12 presidents of the member association to join the new association. The League will see and identify raw soccer talent and enforce soccer in the country.
Mr. Kapi Nato also said that this League will include associations from Vanimo to Alotau, Kerema, Kavieng and other provinces.
He said that they will write to the sports minister that they will create this new association. PNGFM
