University of Papua New Guinea programs among the best in the World
The Eduniversal Evaluation agency has, once again, ranked The University of Papua New Guinea’s Masters and MBA Programs amongst the best in the world for 2016-2017.
They are the Master of Laws in Business and Commercial Laws, and the advanced Diploma in Business (major in HRM) in Human Resource Management.
The ranking celebrates academic excellence for the University’s programs following the analysis of more than 17,000 programs from 1,000 universities in 154 countries, and reflects the quality and reputation of the University’s School of Business and Public Policy, and the School of Law.
This prestigious ranking will play a major role in assisting students to make sensible, high-quality, study choices for their academic careers in Papua New Guinea.
“This is a great honour for The University of Papua New Guinea to receive such a ranking in academic excellence,” vice-chancellor, Professor Albert Mellam, said.
“For UPNG, and Papua New Guinea, to be judged as being amongst the best in the world shows that we have reached an international standard in some of our key programs.”
Prof Pillai, Executive Dean of the School of Business and Public Policy, said congratulations must go to the academic staff who are responsible for framing the courses and then delivering the teaching activities.
The ranking results were legally registered on February 6, 2017, and will be publically announced on April 11, 2017.
