Solomon Islands Guadalcanal Police arrested 3 Male suspects
Guadalcanal Police in Solomon Islands arrested 3 male suspects during the Christmas Festivity Operation for demanding and Malicious damage nearby Mark Warth area.
Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Superintendent Nixson Manetoga says, “Suspects are formally arrested and charged for demanding with menaces and Malious damage to properties. The three suspects appear in Central Magistrate Court today and released on strict bail condition by the court.
Superintendent Manetoga says, “On the 24 December 2017 in the afternoon Guadalcanal Police Operation Team receive a report of demanding and malicious damage from a victim reside nearby Mark Warth Oil Limited area at Henderson, Central Guadalcanal.”
Mr Manetoga says, “With regards to such incident of demanding and damage to people’s properties is not acceptable in our communities. I appeal to all my good people especially during this festive season to stay out from such activities.”
“As we about to celebrate the New Year, I don’t want anyone to involve in any unwanted behaviours that may cause injuries to other people. My officers will continue to monitor, do awareness talks to communities and will arrest people who breaks the law.”
PPC Manetoga further added: “I appeal to Guadalcanal people for cooperation and working together in making sure that this New Year celebration is a meaningful, peaceful and respectful to each other.”
He further stated: “Respect for people’s properties and our own families are very important. Do not take laws into your own hands but report matters to police.”
