Telikom PNG launches 3G/4G Internet Services to East Sepik
TELIKOM PNG has launched a 3G/4G service in East Sepik to become the third telecommunications provider there.
Maprik town mayor Paul Dugi said the launch of the service if proof of the growth of the township and the rise in commerce that it facilitated.
“We have seen Maprik grown from strength to strength,” he said.
“Maprik town has been elevated to urban status as it’s seen today where there is a lot of business and cash flow activities.”
Dugi called on Telikom to open an office in Maprik to help residents and small businesses.
Maprik MP John Simon thanked Telikom for the service.
“I have used Telikom’s mobile service and I am telling you it is the most reliable service,” Simon said.
“There are many districts in the country that don’t have Telikom’s mobile network and I feel sorry for them.
For us in Maprik, you have no excuse. The service is here and along the highway into Wewak”
