PNG Hunters : Gotuno in, Morris out
Brandon Gotuno will become Hunter No.60 when he debuts on the wing for the SP Hunters against Sunshine Coast Falcons in Round 3 of the Intrust Super Cup 2017 grand final replay in Brisbane this Sunday. Gotuno replaces Buttler Morris.
The 20 men Hunters squad that will take on the Sunshine Coast Falcons in Brisbane were named this afternoon by Coach Michael Marum.
Mr Marum said some players had to be dropped after the last weekend’s loss against Northern Pride.
Regarding this Sundays match against Sunshine Coast Falcons, he said it’s going to be tough because they’ve done a lot of changes to their line up and a lot of their boys from last year are no longer there.
“All we want is our players going out there and making sure they give it their 100%” said coach Marum.
Other adjustments to the line up include Stargroth Amean making his return to the starting line up at fullback and Adex Wera moving to the centres while Nixon Put starts in his usual second row position.
Rhadley Brawa will also be moved to start at lock in place of the injured Adam Korave.
Coach Michael Marum said Adam got concussed after the match last Sunday and wasn’t given clearance form QRL and the team doctors so he wasn’t allowed to train or be named for the squad.
Silas Gahuna, William Mone, Michael Yei and Patrick Morea have been included in the extended bench.
The 20 man squad is:
1. Stargroth AMEAN
2. Wawa PAUL
