Fiji Airways, Alaska Airlines Open Up More US Cities to Fiji
Fiji Airways, Fiji’s National Airline and Alaska Airlines continue to strengthen their codeshare partnership, with the latest expansion adding a number of destinations to Fijian carrier’s network via its San Francisco hub.
Guests of both airlines can now easily connect to/from Fiji (Nadi) to an additional 19 cities in the US, including large cities like San Diego, Austin, Indianapolis, Washington SC and Boston. The airlines have an existing codeshare for flights from Seattle and Portland to Fiji via San Francisco.
Andre Viljoen, Fiji Airways Managing Director and CEO welcomed the wide-ranging codeshare expansion: “Our partnership with Alaska Airlines keeps growing from strength to strength. Their extensive North American network offers guests from some of the region’s most populous cities a convenient connection to our home – Fiji – and its renowned tourism attractions. It’s good for Fiji, Fijian tourism and both airlines. Conversely, our Fijian guests will now enjoy excellent connectivity to these wonderful US cities thanks for this expanded agreement.”
