Redcliffe Dolphins win 2018 Intrust Super Cup Premiership

The Redcliffe Dolphins ran out 36-22 winners over East Tigers  to claim an unmatched sixth premiership in the Intrust Super Cup competition, ending a run of three grand final defeats since their last title in 2006.

By virtue of the victory, Redcliffe will now play the Bulldogs in a curtain-raiser to the NRL Grand Final, vying for the Intrust Super National Championship.

REDCLIFFE DOLPHINS 36 (Trai Fuller 2, Jeremy Hawkins, Kotoni Staggs, Nathan Watts, Tom Opacic tries; Kotoni Staggs 6 goals) def EASTS TIGERS 22 (Conor Carey, Marion Seve, Jake Foster, Scott Drinkwater tries; Brayden Torpy 3 goals) at Suncorp Stadium.
Referees: Chris Anderson, Liam Kennedy.
