Bougainville misses out on allocation of PNG Govt Ministries
Bougainville has been left out in the allocation of ministries in the new JAMES MARAPE Government announced on Friday.
This does not go well when Bougainville is about to vote for its political future through a democratic referendum just three months away.
The changes in Ministries announced by Prime Minister MARAPE reinstated Ministers from the previous Peter O’niel Government.
The notable Ministries in the JAMES MARAPE government are the new Police Minister, Bryan Kramer and the new Petroleum Minister KERENGE KUA.
Under the Bougainville Affairs, Bougainville will be served by its own in-law, SIR PUKA TEMU.
This is a good sign as history has shown that PAPUANS have done wonderful things for the people of Bougainville.
The late Prime Minister, BILL SKATE brokered peace for Bougainville in 1997and SIR MOI AVEI helped finalize the Bougainville Peace Agreement and was a signatory to the agreement with the Prime Minister in 2001, SIR MEKERE MORAUTA.
