Air Niugini commences First Commercial Flight to Komo, Hela Province
Link PNG, a subsidiary of Air Niugini has commenced its first commercial flight to Komo airport in Hela province yesterday, Tuesday 19th of November 2019.
PX 702 departed Port Moresby at around 10:30am and arrived in Komo just before lunch time. The flight took 1hour, 30minutes with twenty two(22) elated passengers including Governor for Hela, Hon. Philip Undialu on board the first commercial flight.
The inclusion of Komo now brings the total Link PNG ports to eleven (11). The initial services into Komo will be twice a week, every Tuesdays and Thursdays.
All flights to Komo are operated by Link PNG’s 50 seat Dash 8-315 aircraft.
