PNG PM Marape to support Projects and services initiated by Provincial Govts
Papua New Guinea Prime Minister James Marape says his Government would support projects and services already undertaken by Provincial Governments and District Development Authorities in the country.
Mr. Marape when speaking to more than 10 thousand people in Wabag last Thursday, said his Government will work with the Provincial Governments and Districts, as long as they are willing to embrace his Government’s policies and work with the National Government.
He said this when applauding the initiatives of Grand Chief and Governor Sir Peter Ipatas in delivering many projects and services in the province.
Mr. Marape also said his government will support services such as the Wabag Provincial Hospital, Enga Teachers College and the Sopas Adventist Nursing College and many others.
He also presented 11 million kina to the Provincial Hospital Project, and five million kina each to the Enga Teachers College and the Proposed Enga Technical College at Akom.
The Prime Minister spent three days in Enga visiting projects as well as the Rakamanda SDA Primary School, he once attended in his early years of schooling.
