International Passengers to arrive in PNG today from Japan
Eight (8) Papua New Guinean nationals and two (2) Japanese nationals will be arriving from Japan early tomorrow.
These people have been uplifted on the return leg of Air Niugini Flight PX 9055 arriving at 3am 30th April 2020, in Port Moresby.
The flight is chattered by the Japanese company Dai Nippon Construction.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Health officials, Customs, Immigration, and other relevant agencies will be at the Jacksons International Airport to receive them.
They will be then taken directly from the airport to an arranged quarantine facility.
As a mandatory requirement, all approved inbound international passengers are required to quarantine for 14 days on arrival, at one of eight hotels in Port Moresby approved for this process.
