PNG Education Dept announces revised National Examinations Dates for 2020

The Papua New Guinea  Education Department has announced new dates for the National School Examinations.  The department says, due to the COVID-19, classes are disrupted and to allow students to catch up with lost lesson times, the examination dates have been reviewed and  changed. 

The Grade 10 Written Expression is extended by 4 weeks

• Grade 12 Written Expression Examination is extended by 2 weeks
• Grade 10 examinations are extended by 2 weeks
• Grade 12 examinations are extended by 2 weeks
• Grade 8 Examinations are extended by 2 weeks

The department released the following dates,

1. Grade 10 Written Expression Examination  will be on  July 2, 2020
2. Grade 12 Written Expression Examination  will be on August 17, 2020
3. Grade 10 National Examination will be on   October 19 - 23 , 2020
4. Grade 12 National Examination will be on October 26 - 30, 2020
5. Grade 8 National Examination will be on November 2- 5 , 2020.
