Family Serves Food to Police On X-Mas Day
While many families across the nation embraced the spirit of Christmas by celebrating, in their own way; a prominent newspaper journalist and her family took the initiative to serve meals to members of the Constabulary at the Ensisi roundabout, and along the Burns Peak in NCD on Christmas day.
Chirstian Pakakota who works with the National Newspaper said "Christmas is a time for sharing and caring, and as such, we chose to feed some of our police personnel on Christmas eve."
She said, many members of the Constabulary especially those at the operational front were not spending time with their families because of their commitment to work. "These fine men and women always commit their time to ensure peace and good order is maintained, so that we can all live peacefully.
"By feeding some of them, we are expressing our gratitude, and I am sure, many families within the communities, also share the same sentiments. " Mrs Pakakota said.
