The 14 days curfew in EHP was meant to limit the movement of people to combat the rising trend of COVID-19 in the province.
However, Dr Apa said people are ignorant to adhere to curfew orders.
He adds they are not observing the new normal that is why covid 19 cases are increasing in the province.
Every day 15 to 20 people are admitted to the hospital, while some are isolated at the facility and others are asked to isolate themselves at home.
The PHA CEO said more deaths are expected in the coming days because the number of cases is increasing daily.
Meantime, Dr. Apa says there are 234 positive cases and 40 deaths reported in September alone.
