Marape Government satisfied with PNG Economy Reaching Billion Kina Mark
Papua New Guinea Prime Minister James Marape has spoken highly of his government's management of the economy, as the 2022 election campaign period draws to an end.

He said the economy has reached the Billion Kina mark in the last three years.
Mr. Marape said World Bank estimates also backs the government projections of the local economy stated in this year’s national budget.
He said "In three tough years, the government knew that responsible budgeting and using government cashflow as a tool, we could maintain stimulus in the economy."
The Prime Minister was speaking at the Small to Medium Enterprise business breakfast in Port Moresby yesterday.
