Illegal Power Consumers to be charged
Illegal electricity consumers will now be charged and prosecuted under the PNG Electricity Industry Act and the Criminal Code.
PNG Power Chief Executive Officer Obed Batia issued the warning at the recent launch of the external reward program ‘TOKOUT’
The TOKOUT program will enable the general public to come forward and report illegal consumers and in return receive a cash reward of K250.00.
