KCH Backs PNG Asia Investment Conference
KUMUL Consolidated Holdings has backed the inaugural Papua New Guinea (PNG) – Asia Investment Conference in Hong Kong as a platinum sponsor.
Kumul Consolidated Holding’s commitment is a sign of confidence that the Government has in this investment conference.
In announcing KCH’s platinum sponsorship KCH Managing Director, Professor David Kavanamur said, “We already have links with Asian companies, and I see that this conference is an opportunity to headline further investments that exist in PNG.”

KCH, as the Trustee of the General Business Trust will use Hong Kong conference to highlight the challenges and successes of SOEs and the opportunities for more investment in these companies and KCH’s other nation-building projects.
The PNG-Asia Investment Conference to date has received four platinum sponsors, one gold with strong interest from business entities from China and other Asian partners to support the event, which will take place at the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel from the 15th to 16th October 2023.
Hosted by the PNG Chamber of Mines and Petroleum under the theme ‘Partnership for Prosperity’, the PNG-Asia Investment Conference will showcase the strong and enduring success of Asian investment into PNG, the robust trade linkages between Asia and PNG and particularly delving into how PNG is actively catalysing the growth of Asian investments through its infrastructure building and joint ventures with the state-owned entities in PNG.
The event will be utilised to promote opportunities for further Asian investment into PNG.
President of the PNG Chamber of Mines and Petroleum Anthony Smaré in welcoming KCH states, “I thank KCH, Minister Duma and Prof Kavanamur and his team for their support of the Conference.”
