The public is encouraged to cooperate with the wardens to help maintain a cleaner and safer city. Senior Inspector Kini highlighted that while improvements may take time, the success of the initiative relies on the full support of the community. He urged the public to heed the wardens' guidance and avoid actions that contribute to the city’s safety and cleanliness issues.
A total of 150 wardens have been deployed, with 50 stationed in Boroko and 100 in Gordons. Police officers will monitor the wardens’ activities to ensure they are not harassed or intimidated.
Those who engage in harassment or intimidation of the wardens will face arrest and legal action.
