Staff from Pacific Adventist University are currently in Perth, engaging with Curtin University under a program funded by the Australian Government through its foreign affairs and education support initiatives.

The collaboration forms part of a second Higher Education Partnership grant, following earlier success in building institutional links between the two universities.

A major outcome of this phase will be the development of a Digital Learning and Innovation Centre for Inclusive Education at PAU.

The facility is intended to strengthen the university’s ability to deliver flexible learning options, including online and blended teaching methods.

Participants are working closely with education specialists to co-design courses and refine teaching strategies suited to PNG’s diverse learning environment.

The broader goal is to improve opportunities for students who often face barriers to education, particularly those living in remote areas, as well as women and people with disabilities.
