According to an information sheet released by the department's Measurement Services Division (MSD), the marking process is expected to be completed on Wednesday, October 28.
The department has reminded all participating teachers to comply with examination rules and maintain professional standards throughout the exercise, warning that cheating can occur not only in examination halls but also at marking centres.
Students are expected to receive their Grade 12 examination results in November, with the department set to publish the results online.
Tertiary institution selections will follow through the National Online Application System (NOAS), which facilitates the selection process for students seeking places in higher education institutions.
The marking exercise is a key stage in determining students' final examination outcomes and preparing for the next phase of tertiary admissions.
