A man was arrested and charged with serious charges after bombing a sex shop, according to police reports in Italy.
Calabria Police said that they arrested a 26-year-old man, who allegedly bombed a sex shop because he was jealous of the success of the owner.
Salvatore Infantino is accused of bombing the Vedova Nera Sexy Shop in the beautiful town of Gioia Tauro just weeks after it opened.
The shop owner said that the attack cost the company 15,000 euros, or about $20,000 in uninsured damages.
Moral objection to a sex shop could also have been the reason for the attack, police said.
The explosion was so powerful that it damaged nearby buildings and cars.
Gioia Tauro has been hit by a series of bomb attacks in recent months.
Last September, a bomb exploded at a gas station in the city, just five months after a furniture store was hit with an explosion. Car bombs also went off in the city recently.
