PNG win Rugby League 2014 Commonwealth Championship

Papua New Guinea (PNG) is the 2014 Commmonwealth Rugby League Champions. PNG was unbeaten in the tournament and came out winners after beating tournament favourites  Australia 22 -  8  in the final.

In the semi final, PNG hold off Wales  12 - 6. Australia belted Canada 20 - 0 to book the final.

Determined PNG hold off Australia in the final to win gold.
