BSP is encouraging customers to use EFTPoS, KunduCards
Bank South Pacific (BSP) which has the largest network of EFTPoS, consisting 13,000+ terminals throughout Papua New Guinea, encourages customers to use EFTPoS and other electronic channels to conduct banking.
BSP EFTPoS devices are available at fuel stations, hotels, supermarkets, trade stores, hospitals, tucker shops and other points of sale. By using the KunduCard and utilising BSP's extensive network, there is no need to carry cash purchase goods and services, or get cash back.
Utilising the KunduCard and the EFTPoS also saves time for the customer. There is no need to visit and ATM or a Branch to prior.
BSP daily limits for customers using a KunduCard on the EFTPoS to purchase goods are up to K15000 and the allowed daily limit for cash out is K2000. For BSP Visa Debit Card holders the limits are higher.
For instance, BSP's wireless EFTPoS terminals at fuel stations means customers can get fuel and pay using their card in the comfort of their car and not transact over the counter.
BSP's wireless EFTPoS is now a hit with many businesses that do deliveries and customers simply use BSP cards instead of cash. This not only reduces the risk on carrying cash for the business, it is convenient, especially when customers do not have cash on hand.
For small businesses, having an EFTPoS is an advantage as they can build their credit and transactions history. Payments are all done electronically and in real time.
Apart from EFTPoS, BSP customers are also urged to utilise Mobile and Internet Banking, which allows customers to conduct various transactions including funds transfer to other BSP Accounts, to accounts at other banks, pay for bills, check balances or transaction history and obtain statements.
BSP remains committed to providing cheap, convenient and safe solutions for all its customers.
