O'neill to give in
The Prime Minister said, he will make himself available to police, only if the Police Commissioner requests him.
Peter O'Neill said he's done nothing wrong and will give police either an interview or a statement, whichever they would ask from him.
He however said, he will not respond to the warrant of arrest which has been out for him and has been outstanding for three weeks now, despite a temporary stay from the courts.
Mr. O'Neill told the media this afternoon at his Parliament office, that the warrant is highly suspicious and is orchestrated by people who want to destroy him and his government.
"There is a directive from the police commissioner , that listen he will take control of the files and make an assessment, once he determines and that ah, , there is a case for me to answer ah....I will, I will show up. I don't intend to run away from my responsibilities.....I have never shied away from that. But you know as I said, we have done nothing wrong to be ashamed of or afraid.....So lets,..lets see where it ends up."
