Heavily armed men attack Nadzab Airport

A group of heavily armed men has attacked Nadzab Airport in Lae, Morobe Province this morning. The harmed men forcefully enter the e Air Niugini office  and destroyed all the boarding pass machines and computers.

According to  Guard Dog Security officer who was on duty at the airport at the time of the hold-up confirmed the attack.

Lae Air Niugini Lae Branch Manager has advised that he is presently on his way to the airport where he will gather more details for disclosure to the general public.

Presently, guards and travelers at the Airport have called in, expressing their concerns at what has become a chaotic situation at the Nadzab terminal as passengers from all over the country are left stranded at a terminal that is 45 minutes away from the nearest town of Lae.
