ITS BACK TO SCHOOL AGAIN

Despite the bad weather in Port Moresby, alot of students turned up for school on the first day of the schooling year for 2015.
All schools in the Nation’s Capital kicked off its first day of school like any other ordinary day with students flooding the school ground.
The Head Teacher for Ward Strip Demonstration Primary School, Mrs Ricky said “ I was surprised to see students already at the school ground before 7am this morning, and that’s a good sign for me because despite the rain, they still managed to come to school all psyched up”.
She added, “Some schools are having issues with teachers resuming duties on time but I am very pleased with my teachers for turning up on time to resume their duties”.
She said the only problem they have now is the “no project fee” instruction from the Education Department.
“If the project fees are not met than my ancillary staff won’t be paid and that will be a problem in the long run” said Mrs Ricky.
Furthermore, Mrs Ricky said, parents must be responsible for project fees and cannot be depending on the government to pay everything.
“It is our responsibility as parents to play our part in the upbringing of our children because we made decision to bring them into this world, not the government! so we have to play our part to pay the project fee” said Mrs Ricky.
