PNG deports Nigerian fugitive
Papua New Guinea Government agencies have finally deported a fugitive, believed to be married to a local woman and living illegally in the country.
Minister for Foreign Affairs and Immigration Rimbink Pato announced the deportation of a serial unlawful entrant to the country and suspected organized crime fugitive Mr Cedric Sedibe Nduduzie.
Cedric, also known as Holy Moses, is facing a string of charges, including importation and export of drugs.
According to Minister Rimbink Pato, Cedric Sedibe Nduduzie originally from Nigeria, entered PNG recently, travelling on a
fraudulently altered South African passport, after having been previously removed from the country, by the Immigration Task Force.
Cedric also known as Holy Moses, had established at least 11 other fraudulent aliases in the country, some of which he had used to open their bank accounts contrary to PNG laws.
Minister Pato said the fugitive was facing a number of charges under PNG Passport and Migration Acts, which includes (unlawful presence in the country, escaping from custody, and possess false passport), and make false statement in an application for
a PNG passport).
Other charges related to the importation and export of drugs . (Methamphetamine)
Meanwhile, according to NBC previous reports from Immigration Task Force , Cedric Sedibe was previously arrested by the Task Force and serve 6 months at Bomana.
Prior to that Cedric Sedibe was deported out of the country before but manage to slip back into PNG via Indonesia and crossing over the border.
Sedibe was on the authorities hit list for deportation and had faked 3 identities or passports of Nigerian, South Africa and Cameron.
Authorities said it was difficult to deport him to his place of origin then because his real identity or place of origin cannot be established, and such it took some time to establish his identity then.
Previous reports also shows he involve prominent people in his 'black money' business.
Sedibe is reportedly married to a PNG lady and have children.
