Hausik Insurance Product Launched

“Hausik Insurance” a new innovative insurance product was officially launched today by BIMA and Digicel PNG. The product is a second micro-insurance service that covers for customer needs in times of hospitalization. The first product was Family Life Insurance that was launched last year in JULY.
BIMA’s Country Manager, Simon Schwall said that the product is “simple, affordable” and accessible for everyone, even those in remote parts of Papua New Guinea. He also added that “the financial support will provide great relief for families when they need it the most. It makes it possible for members to go to the Hospital and not worry about the expenses or docked salaries”.
Digicel PNG’s Head of Marketing, Peggy Maha said “this is all about giving excess to people that previously didn’t have access to insurance and we (Digicel PNG) love the fact that we are adding value to our customers.”
