Illegal Africans in PNG
Government authorities in Vanimo, West Sepik Province have sent three foreigners back to Indonesia after arriving in the province last week.
Police and Immigration officials are tight-lipped about the arrival of the three foreigners who were picked up along Dali Beach, after they had checked into a hotel in town.
They did not have any travel or identification documents on them, but wanted to get visa on their arrival to enter PNG.
Provincial Police Commander, Robert Gesa, says the men were removed from police custody last Friday, because the cells have been condemned.
Foreign Affairs and Immigration officials were working towards getting them deported with no charges laid by police for their illegal entry into the country from Indonesia.
The exact location of where they were put up as yet to be ascertained as government authorities on the ground are not coming out speaking on how they have dealt with them.
Tthe three foreigners have been sent back to Indonesia last night by boat as they did not have any travel documents to prove their identities and nationalities making it difficult for police to arrest and charge them for illegal entry.
